Boston George
Boston George is a native of Houston Texas. He grew up on the 'Nawfside' (Northside) of the city but ultimately reps his entire city and the Great state of Texas. A true Houstonian, George has been on the music scene for sometime now, but not as a rapper. He experimented as a rap artist in 2009 but put down the mic believing that his role as a leader would be better in supporting other artists in the city that had more of a buzz. At this point he officially became a Co-CEO of the record label Authentik Music Group more widely known in the streets simply as 'AMG'. After successfully breaking a few new artists into the music scene, George made the decision to pick back up his mic and share his life with the city and ultimately the world while holding his title as CEO of AMG and continuing to sign and develop artists. With influences from his close associates Slim Thug and Yo Gotti, he learned the business and realized that he too can successfully be a boss and an artist.
Boston George recorded his 1st official single entitled ‘Molly’ mid July of 2012. During a 3-week period, he managed to get the song played consistently in the top clubs in the Houston nightlife and also in other markets including Orlando, Dallas, and parts of Louisiana. He also accomplished getting his single played on Houston's most popular hip-hop radio station 97.9 The Box during the Michael Watts show on Sundays. After accomplishing so much in a short time, George knew that he made the right decision to pursue this career path and hasn’t stopped grinding since. George truly believes if you work hard for what you want and seize every opportunity, success is the only option and failures are only speed bumps along the road.
